Times goes way to fast!
Hello everyone!
So the days just rushes by here and everything is almost normal, and with that i mean i got some kinda structure and thats the gym! Thats like my only thing i know im gonna do every day and it feels good. Problem is that i wouldnt mind going there every day but i try not to, cause thats gonna end in some injury or me have to stop it due to some swedish word i dont know what it is in english! haha
Well i got one piece of happy news. I had an group interview this monday and i just got a call that said im through to round 2! I dont know if i wanna say where it is but i guess i have to, its such a cliche! IKEA!
The problem is that if i get that job i would probably not mind staying here for abit longer.... But i will take it as it comes.
I bought some hayfever pills yesterday so hopefully thats gonna bring me back to life again. Cause im just way to sleepy and everything! I went to bed at 20.00 yesterday but i got up at 07.30 this morning to go to the gym! I cant believe me Cajsa Carlsson goes up before 8 to go to the gym and thats not an Aerobics lesson! But dont think im gonna come home all fit, cause i eat way to much food as always! Haha.
Every wednesday one of the Mobile operators- Orange got this deal. You go 2 for 1 every wednesday to the cinema. So thats what im doing 2nite with Sabine!

Sunday....
Ok so 2day its sunday.
Been really tired these last couple of days. Im guessing its the hayfever coming at me. I´ve just been really of tracks. Im not really in any conversation, abit floating. And people constantly asks me if im ok.
I guess i have to go buy some pills for it. So i can start being normal again.
So the dinner at Sabines was really nice. GREAT food! And her flatmates are really nice aswell! And me and sabine made this fruitcake that was good, but it could probabaly have been better if i wouldnt have got involved! haha
Well we were at El barrio yesterday and i was wearing these shoes i asked my mum to send. (Thanks for that =)) Well they are a wee bit higher then my others and my feet were killing after like 30 min cause i walked in them almost the hole way from my place to El barrio! Thats a ca 25 min walk!
Ohhh i almost forgot to tell you!
Me and amelie spend the day for some days ago and we found this great new lunch place! Its a mexican place and we rolled out of there literally! Really nice food. Im not gonna say what the name of the place cause we got a friend whos a chef and knows way too much about some of the restuarants around here. We dont want him to take it away from us!
Is getting late here, i woke up at one and now its four and i feel i have to go out for a wee while! The sun just came out aswell.
Oh one last thing. Dont know if i said anything about this but I have an owen in my flat. And the problem is that i dont know if it works. Tried every button and so on, i forgot to ask my flatmates. But when i walked in to the kitchen for an hour ago the owen was working! Yeah yeayyyyyyyyyyyyyy happy happy now i can do my chicken wrapped in bacon and some potato wedges!

Im back on track!
Hey!
Its been a while since i wrote so i have to give you an update.
Except from small gatherings with friends nothing big has happend.
Well the biggest is in that case what i did this morning! Cajsa in the gym! Finally! I´ve been doing aquafit for 2 weeks now so thats always something but 2day I had an instruction. So he gave me some tips for my knee. So now i have a program to follow for 2 weeks and then i will met up with the guy again and see if everything is going good and add more exercises.
Everyone that knows me knows that im more off a aerobic, step up, bodypump and running kinda girl. But im actually really happy that i got a foot in to it. It´s just that i dont like when its to much people in a gym. I mean like cute guys and people that u know that you dont wanna talk to when ur all red and sweaty. But i guess i´ve to get over that threshold!
I mean there is a place where they have classes and stuff that i like but it takes me about 15-20 min walk and its easier to go to the gym thats like 3 min from my place.
So 2day its cloudy here and im gonna meet up with Amelie later. And 2mrw im invited to Sabines house. They are having a girly dinner. Wich should be fun!
Oh and i have to admit: I bought a pair off shoes i´ve been looking at since i got here. And its these so called wedges (kilklack) so they are high but flat so its a bit easier walk in them. And i just WANTED them! They had my name on them!

Guided tour of Edinburgh
Hey everybody!
2day i´ve been to a free tour around Edinburgh. There is so many places i dont know anything about so that was great, so much fun.
Besides that nothing much have happend. The tour was 3 hours and out in the sun, so i now got a red nose. But happy =)
Trying to keep myself off the shopping streets, not the easiest tho!!
2nite its monday and I might go to the pub quiz or something.
Well one funny thing that happend the other day i just have to tell u guys about.
Im always trying to avoid Swedish people but this other day at the hostel there was this group of guys that just screamed SWEDISH!
So for once i did speak with them. The night after i saw them again and sat down to chat with them and after a wee while i get to know that most of them is from Ljusterö!!! Lovely sunny sunday!
We finally had some sun 2day. Just what i needed! Lovely.
It would have been better if i didnt wake up at one o´clock, but i was fast and outside by two.
Met up with Sabine and had a boosting smootie outside on the grass, not a cloud =)
Well we did go to El barrio yesterday to celebrate Sabines 22nd birthday. It was great fun as always and the reason why I didnt get up in time!
I did wake up from my clock at ten and snozed for an hour and was awake by eleven so i turned the alarm off. Well that was a mistake i can recall by wakeing up at one instead!
So what else is new....
Well i´ve been swiming again and its good BUT.
The scottish ways off how much space people need for swimming is out of the window. Imagine 2 people meeting (swimming) 1,5 meter to share. That just doesnt work. And it was people doing the crawl as well. I mean if you are suppose to do it you might aswell learn HOW to, right? I almost drowned every lap after he splashing me with water.

Done nothing 2day!
Ok, so 2day its thursday and I hav´nt been writeing since monday.
So some things have happend.
Monday nite at Belushis they have pub quiz then and the winners prize is a 15 £ bar tab. To make it short, my team won! Yeyyyy!!!
Me and Amelie did go out after that to her friends b-day party and that was really fun aswell cause it was the first time me and Amelie been out just her and me! Great fun.
Hmmm what else.......
Well yesterday one girl was leaving so she had a going away party at Belsuhis. And it was a hat party. Everyone was suppose to have a hat. Got some good pics i will load up soon.
And earlier on the day yesterday. I was out to lunch with a friend of mine. A guy I know through Amelie. Jeremy. And we went to this hamburger place. And they had a chicken haggis burger. I mean that just screamed out for me to try!
So it was chicken filled with haggis. And i must say not bad, really good. Wouldnt mind eating it again.
The hat party got really late so i got to bed at 5 and didnt go up until 12. And all day i´ve been just talking to friends on msn and checking little britain. If the weather would have been good i wouldnt have stayed in but it wasnt good, so who can blame me? ;)
Well but i did finally go to the gym 2day. Aquafit! Tried at home once and after that i realised what a good form of excercise and good for my knees.
And they got it several times a week on different times wich is super. Really happy now!
A change of subject. There is swedes everywhere i go nowadays. I mean there probabaly not that many if u would count them but i can hear and see them everywhere! I think they are stalking me ;)
There is some guy in a apartment close to mine that is playing his violin, really loudly and from time to time really badly. It hurt my ears! haha
Well thats all i guess. This weekend its Sabines birthday so we are going out to El barrio on saturday, wich is going to be lots of fun!

Pancakes!
So its easter monday and a red day here. Im at Belushis (amelies work) and eating pancakes. And OMG they are sooooo good!
Its apple and cinnamon in them, they are extremly good. So saturday didnt turn out the way i wanted. Everyone was tired really early and all of my friends didnt wanna do anything. So i was out for a couple of hours and then i went home really sad. It was easter and didnt get any candy! I bought snickers on my way home and felt sorry for myself.
If no one figured it out yet i had a weak moment and i got homesick. All good now tho!
Im hoping this week is gonna get me some job calls. I handed in lots of applications last week and I doing the same 2mrw when its no longer easter.
Im having a friend to call me in the morning around half eight so i can get something done!
Was out "running" yesterday morning again, when its good weather to walk around the so called mountain is GREAT!
I´ve to buy a new camera, cause mine doesnt work and im not saying this just because i want a new one. Mine is fine if it wasnt for the battery dies ALL the time. I cant even start it without it says; warning battery excausted.
HOW can that be when there´s NEW batteries! Ahhhhhhhhhhh angry!
One other funny thing. U guys know I swear alot and i believed i didnt swear as much in foreign languages. But apparently i do swear almost the same amount. Its just that i dont have as many synonyms like I have in swedish!
But i know i dont swear in French....... yet! haha.
I´ve actually spoken more french in these few days than under 2 years since i got home from Nice.
Its good, i just have to get my french side of the brain to work!
Its so weird cause at this place Amelies works at ,im there ALL the time so im starting to feel abit weird about it. I like know alot of people there and im hanging here constantly. I´ve applied for a job here and the bosses in question have seen me here like every night and day. I dont know if thats a good or bad thing, the good thing i guess is that i get along with the people who works here, thats always something. Well we will see, i really wanna work here tho! I like the place.
I dont know if i write about stuff u guys wanna read or not, so if there´s something u want me to write more about, let me know ok!?

Hope everyone is having a great easter!
This is the first time im not spending easter with my family, it feels so weird. No easter decorations, no candy, no easter dinner. I mean I could go with out the candy cause i can buy it by myself.
But the family gathering with my parents new house, my niece, my sister, brother, mum, dad, auntie everyone. I guess u dont appreciate what u got until u leave it.
But im spending my night with my friends and well there will be lots of laughter when Andy wears that awful/ hilarious suit. This is an beginning of something new! =)
Today its my 15th day here in Edinburgh but it feels like i´ve been here for ages.
we got sunshine here 2day =) loving it.
Ahhh btw some of you might wonder how it goes with my cooking! It goes really good actually! Im enjoying it. I mean its my own fault if i didnt prepare something in time and have to stand there at 8 o´clock with no food.
But i´ve cut out pasta, potatos, bread, milk and stuff like that. Its easier to just chop up some vegetables and have chicken, quorn or something 2it. But i did buy quinoa when i found after a long search and yesterday i found bulgur!! Yeyyy
But im really longing for a job and some structure.
Yesterday i was out on a major jobhunting, hopefully that will give some results, but that only happen cause a friend of mine called me at 8.30 so i could get up and out in time before all the lunch rushes. Team work!

The hunt for easter decorations!
Ok, Amelie got a mission to go buy stuff for this weekend cause her job have decided to have a theme, and because its easter well they are having; EASTER theme, shocking I know!
So off we went Me, Amelie and Jeremy(a working collegue to Amelie).
It took us most off the day to find stuff but we did go to every costume shop and pound saver in the area ;)
Lots of fun, cant wait how is going to look like on Saturday. And we were suppose to buy a bunny outfit for one of the guys, well all the good costumes were really expensive but we did found a catch for 15 £. Well its suppose to be worn by a woman and its not the right size, but OMG we had and will have a good laugh on saturday......Its hard to describe how pretty Andy looks in it! =)
It seems like im having a night in 2day aswell, but im not complaining, its usually said that ur more tired when you are not really doing anything? well i guess thats me now.
Oh yeah I´ve to tell you about the bling bling party last night!. It was fun, we had abit of trouble with the dresscode, but in the end we just came out as abit of streetish. But at least we had tried, some people didnt even bother!
Well it was sabines school that arrange this party and when we got there it was candy ALL OVER the place AND they had a chocolate fountain! Can u guys imagine my happiness? =)
But i dont know what the teachers were thinking tho, i mean if u add alcohol to that sugar amount you get people really waisted! Good job haha. ;)

Well 2day its raining, its not pouring down but when the wind comes it gets both wet and cold.

Ok im very thrilled cause this is the first Night in since i got here!!!!
Got back from coffee and hanging with sabine around four and after that I´ve just watched a movie (the dark knight) I bought it cause i´ havnt seen it.
Nice to be in but i get so bored, there is no tv, so im looking on stuff on my computer and apparently i cant look at swedish programmes cause my computer is beyond their borders!!!
Got some new books i have to read tho......
2mrw im going to this bling bling party with Sabine and we tried to shop some stuff for that 2day. Not the easiest. We just got totally black outs and couldnt figure out what too wear! Hopefully i find something out....
Ok i just have to say this; in sweden we walk on one side of the road and we ride the bike on the other side right? yeah well i thought it was the same here, i thought i had it all figured out but it seems like they just dont give a shit or they dont have any of those rules!!
Well gonna try to have an early night, so im off to bed.

2mrw im going to this bling bling party with Sabine and we tried to shop some stuff for that 2day. Not the easiest. We just got totally black outs and couldnt figure out what too wear! Hopefully i find something out....
Ok i just have to say this; in sweden we walk on one side of the road and we ride the bike on the other side right? yeah well i thought it was the same here, i thought i had it all figured out but it seems like they just dont give a shit or they dont have any of those rules!!
Well gonna try to have an early night, so im off to bed.

Excursion to ????
What a day!
Today me and a friend went on the train to some town called Pitalgry (or something).
Its 2 hours by train from Edinburgh and it was this little really cute town, adorable! Got pics so im gonna try to load them up when i can borrow the memorycard from my friend, cause my camera sucks, i cant even take more then 5 pics and it dies.
Well we walked on this path trough the forrest to get to a whisky distillery, apparently the smallest one in Scotland. We had a tour and I just couldnt help myself so i bought a cream liquer with whisky. Its almost like Baileys but SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better!
A truly great day.
Was up all night last night to write a better cv. I had some expert help from Amelies friends and hopefully I will now get a job!
Well its 00.40 here now and Im going to bed, it has been a long day with lots of fresh air and good times, going to sleep GOOD!

The last day of the week!
Ok so now its sunday again and the weather is really great, sun and blueskyes. For now at least.
Yeah the concert i thought i was going to, well i missunderstood. Its was a movie called: Rocky Horror Show.
Dont know if anyone have seen it but was great fun. Apparently its better in the cinemas cause it becomes like an scene inside the cinema people are screaming funny things, throwing stuff, when its raining in the movie people start throwing water. In one scene a guy says lets make a toast, and people starts throwing toasts!
Anyway sounds weird i know but it was really fun.
2day im hoping to have a night in. Just chill, do some laundry, make some food and go early to bed.
OHHHHH i found porridge oats!!! Well they are not the same as at home, they are in smaller pieces! I´ve started to getting fed up with porridge tho, see how long it lasts.
Now i´ve to get ready and go out in the sun, its a new week 2mrw and u never know when the day comes that im getting a job!

Saturday yet again!
Ok so this time im gonna write in english cause my english speaking friends requested it, and i mean all swedes does know how to read this! See if i get any feedback and i will go from there!
Only about 24 hours since i wrote last time so what have happen?
Well me and Sabine where suppose to try some new pubs and not go to our favourite place; El barrio. Well we had a shot for like 2 hours and then we just gave up and went to El Barrio!
The nite was fun but it seemed like all the sleep i havnt got since i came here just came at me at once. Was big time tired and i couldnt really get any proper words out, so tired that my words just became a blur. (And no, i wasnt drunk!)
Well happy days, now i got some sleep and im planning to have a chill day before i go and meet some friends for dinner and consert.
Ok as i aswell only have one set of towels and sheets i really need to buy that 2day. Its saturday and if i remember right easter is upon us and with that more tourists.
But nowadays the centre of Edinburgh is not as pretty anymore, they hole main street is a construction site and destroys the views of the castle and princes gardens! Not a good pull i mean its gonna go on until 2011, SUCKS! Oh yeah its under construction cause they are installing/ building for trams (spårvagn).
Well dear friends and family hope sweden is treating u good.

Tänkte faktiskt försöka mig på det här med att blogga. Ngra av er har sagt att ni ville veta vad jag håller på med. Nu behöver jag inte massmaila längre.
Ok, så idag har jag varit här i en vecka, helt otroligt vad tiden går fort.
Eftersom ingenting egentligen är nytt så kom jag in i rutiner väldigt fort, det gör att det känns som man vart borta så mkt längre än vad jag egentligen har.
Om jag nu ska vara ärlig (antagligen mot mina föräldrars förfäran) har jag vart ute alla kvällar/ nätter sen jag kom hit, och att leva i en student stad gör att det finns så jäkla mkt att göra. Å då menar jag dra ner på puben och dricka ngra bira, hyfsat billigt så de blir ju en del.
Vi gör annat oxå! Var på bio härom dan och såg; Paul Blart, Mall cop. Vet inte om den har kommit till sverige än, men den va helt okej, hyfsat kul.
Jag är fortfarande arbetslös så jag försöker träffa nya polare och gamla, det behövs kontakter om jag ska få ngt jobb, så jag säger inte nej till nya kontakter.
Det har vart superskönt väder i flera dagar nu, så idag hängde vi utomhus på The Meadows, precis där jag bor. Frisbee och bara skönt snack. Jag tycker det är svårt att få till den spontaniteten som finns här att fungera hemma. Jag tycker att hemma i Åkersberga är det för långt till allt, jag vill bo nära till saker och det gör jag verkligen här. Försöker att gå så mkt som möjligt och jag önskar jag inte glömt min stegräknare. Är möjligtvis uppe i över 10 000 steg om dagen.
Igår var det supervarmt (t-shirt och shorts varmt!) så på morgonen stack jag ut för lite powerwalking, kan fortfarande inte springa pga att mina knän säger ifrån. Skittråkigt för här har man bästa löpspåren 40 m utanför dörren och jag kan inte springa.
Jaja iallafall jag gick till Holyrood Park. Det är området runt och på ett "berg" värsta bra träningen för benen. Backigt och naturliga hinder. NICE! Jättevackert är det uppifrån oxå, det grönområdet som är precis utanför mig är oxå mkt vackert.
Ja idag är det fredag och det blir såklart utgång hela helgen. Förhoppningsvis lite skönt väder så man kan hänga ute. Det var redan från första dagen mkt varmare här än i sverige, så jäkla skönt!!!!
Ni som inte hörde om det som hände den dagen jag skulle åka hit, så kan jag berätta att ute Vid Skavsta var det värsta snöstormen. Jag satt där i flera timmar och får höra flight efter flight bli inställd. Jobbigt!
Men som tur va lugnade det ner sig lite så att vi kunde lyfta, mitt plan ( och ett plan till Tyskland) var det första som fick lyfta den kvällen.
Ja denna första bloggskrivning blev lite rörig men nu vet ni lite vad som händer och jag ska se till att försöka skriva lite mer kontinuerligt.
Haha jo en sak som är lite kul. För er som vet att jag gillar dialekter och jag suger åt mig som en tvättsvamp. Speciellt när det kommer till engelskan så har jag fått ngn riktigt skum dialekt. Mixar alla möjliga olika böjningar på ord. Jag antar att det blir så när man umgås med människor från så olika platser. Men den fixar nog till sig.
